This pupil actively wanted to express her support for Cancer Research and give something back to the charity who helped her family so she ran the Race for Life. We are very proud of her!
This week in Worship we talked about the devastation caused by the bush fires in Australia.
On Monday next week, we will be having a non-uniform day to raise money for the charities in Australia tackling the devastation caused by the bush fires. All the money raised will be split between:
-Charities supporting the employed and volunteer fire fighters.
-Charities supporting the local residents who have lost everything.
-Charities supporting the local wildlife that has been injured and in need of urgent care.
Please can the children bring a donation of £1.00 for wearing their own clothes.
On this day, the children will be given the opportunity to purchase a biscuit to decorate at the cost of 50p per biscuit. This will be to help raise some extra money for this cause.
Well done to our Hit Squad who spoke to the children today in Assembly about respecting the IT Equipment that the school has. This was a very important message.
